Driver side inner frame rail
The drivers side inner frame rail went pretty much the same way as the passenger side so I won’t get in to all the nitty gritty details here. I did want to point out something that I forgot to mention when I wrote about the passenger side. The replacement frame rails are longer than what is needed on the the 69-70 cars, so they have to be trimmed, another point is that the original frame rail had tabs that were spot welded to the torque box. so you can see in the picture that when I cut the frame rail to length, I also created the tabs, and bent them so that when I weld in the torque box, the tabs will add an extra tie in point. Any extra strength I can keep in the frame, also Ford did it.
