Reference material

Here are some the reference manuals I have to help me with working on the car.  If you can only afford a few, I strongly recommend the Ford Factory Assembly Manuals.  These are the manuals that were used on the assembly line to put the car together.  The weld and Sealant manual for example shows where all the spot welds and body sealant needs to be applied.  This is also a great reference to see which panels need to be installed first and so on to have them align and make it easier for you to repair the car.  The restoration guide is good since it includes exploded views of the parts, and helps you figure out which parts belong with which options, and years.  As I’m dissembling the car I have used several of the books to see the exploded views to find those pesky hidden screws, and such.
